OVERVIEW

Launched in 2015, School Empowerment Network (SEN) is a national non-profit organization with the mission to create transformational schools where students are treasured, challenged, and inspired. SEN supports educational leaders in developing a vision for their school communities, creating plans grounded in their school community’s reality, and providing support to those schools to ensure positive outcomes for ALL students. To date, SEN has partnered with over 25 districts across ten states, impacting the school experience of more than 100,000 students.

SEN’S SERVICES

Executive Coaching.
We help cabinet-level leaders to collect input, analyze data, consider political realities, and apply change management best practices to inform a multi-year plan for improving the collective offerings across the district.

Pathways to Leadership Program.
We help schools build teams of highly effective Instructional Leaders capable of raising student performance through cultivation of excellent teaching. The Pathways to Leadership Program serves simultaneously to improve student outcomes and build school and district talent pipelines.

School Design Fellowship.
We provide a year-long Fellowship that gives leaders the time and space to develop detailed school plans for new, high-quality, inclusive schools as well as the leadership and change management skills needed to lead school communities toward dramatically improved outcomes.

School Culture and Climate Coaching.
We work with school leaders to develop positive school cultures by promoting relationship-building, ensuring data-driven decision-making, maximizing student achievement, and creating practices that are student-centered and student-empowering.

School Quality Reviews.
We conduct holistic school reviews, and use a research-backed rubric to identify the priorities and supporting actions that can move the school to the next level of performance.
